Support journalism that matters to you

Since COVID-19 impacts us all and we want everyone in our community to have the important information they need, we have decided to make all coronavirus related stories free to read on theday.com/coronavirus. While we are providing free access to articles, they are not free to produce. The newsroom is working long hours to provide you the news and information you need during this health emergency. Introducing CuriousCT and a look at Connecticut school budgets

The Storyline is back with new weekly episodes. We'll continue to have conversations with the journalists that cover southeastern Connecticut and talk to the communities impacted by our stories.

We'll also be featuring CuriousCT, a relatively new feature on theday.com, where we ask our readers to tell us what they want to know about the people, places and issues in southeastern Connecticut. The premise is simple: You ask, you vote, we investigate.

This week we talk to reporter Erica Moser about her CuriousCT story that focuses on Connecticut school budgets. The story resulted from a question submitted by Lyme resident Jim Miller.
