    Tractor trailer crash slowed traffic on Gold Star Bridge Sunday

    New London -- The northbound lanes of Interstate 95 were partially blocked for about five hours Sunday afternoon after a tractor trailer truck jack knifed late Sunday morning.

    The truck tore a large hole in the metal fencing above a retaining wall before coming to rest and blocking all but one lane. No one was injured in the 10 a.m. crash, according to state police. New London firefighters also responded to the crash. The highway reopened about 2:30 p.m. State police said more details are forthcoming.
