Police investigating death at Water Street garage
New London ― Police are investigating the death of man who may have jumped off the Water Street Parking Garage on Sunday afternoon.
Police said they received a call at 12:52 p.m. that reported a person may have jumped off the top of the garage on the Water Street side.
Upon arrival, emergency services personnel located an unconscious and unresponsive male, who was subsequently transported by the fire department to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police are withholding the man’s identity until it is confirmed and the family is notified. The investigation remains active.
