Waterford police charge man in connection with November car crash
Waterford ― Police said they charged an East Lyme man Monday for his involvement in a serious car crash in November.
Gregory Wilbur, 24, of 4 Woodrow Drive turned himself into police at 6:30 a.m. Monday after police obtained a warrant for his arrest.
Police said Wilbur was involved in a Nov. 8 car crash on Hartford Road that resulted in another driver being flown by Life Star helicopter to Hartford Hospital for treatment.
Wilbur was charged with second-degree assault with a motor vehicle, first-degree reckless endangerment, driving under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol and reckless driving.
He was arraigned Monday in New London Superior Court.
