    Tree cutting accident leaves one dead in Colchester

    Colchester ― State police on Monday identified the man who was killed here over the weekend in a tree cutting accident.

    Police said 52-year-old Jody Fellows was killed Saturday by a falling tree. The accident occurred in the woods behind a home at 18 Clark Road in Colchester where Fellows was cutting down trees with his brother.

    Troopers arrived at 12:31 p.m. on Saturday to find Fellows unresponsive. Police said there is no criminal aspect to the case.
