Ledyard ― A motorcyclist and his passenger were listed in critical condition after a crash into a large boulder Monday night, police said Tuesday morning in a news release.
Officers received a report of a motorcycle crash on Route 214 near Avery Hill Road around 11 p.m. Monday, according to the Ledyard Police Department. The initial investigation indicated the driver lost control while trying to navigate a sharp curve.
