    Drug raid on New London home nets fentanyl, crack and meth; police arrest 6

    New London ― A Monday morning raid on a Spring Street multi-family home resulted in six arrests and a medley of drugs.

    Police said they arrived at 37 Spring St. around 7:11 a.m. with a search and seizure warrant. They left with 2.5 ounces of fentanyl, 21.1 grams of crack cocaine, 13.8 grams of methamphetamine and assorted substances including amphetamines and Suboxone. Packaging materials and scales were also seized.

    Members of the department’s Vice and Narcotic Unit, Emergency Response Team and K-9 Unit participated in the raid, police said.

    Travis Galvin, 41, of 33 Garfield Ave., Apt. 2; Gregory Owens, 38, of no certain address; and Angel Pineiro, 39, of no certain address, were charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, operating a drug factory and possession of drug paraphernalia.

    Missael Rodriguez, 39, also of no certain address, was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, tampering with evidence and interfering with police.

    Benjamin Boucher, 35, of no certain address, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and interfering with police.

    Tania Muniz, 43, whose address was not listed, was charged with interfering with police.

    Police asked anyone with information concerning the incident or other suspected drug activity to call its narcotics hotline at (860) 447-9107 or to submit information anonymously by texting NLPDTip and the information to Tip411 (847411).
