Norwich police search for missing 14-year-old boy

Norwich — Police on Friday issued a Silver Alert for Jovan Oaks, a 14-year-old Norwich boy they called an endangered runaway.

Oaks is described as a black male with black hair and brown eyes. He is a little over 5 feet tall and weighs 120 pounds, according to the alert. He was last seen wearing pajamas at his home, it said, and has been missing since Thursday.

Anyone with information on Oaks' location is asked to call Norwich police at (860) 886-5561 or Lt. Michael Kostrzewa with the state police at (860) 685-8190.
