Stonington — A one-vehicle crash on Interstate 95 south between exits 92 and 91 caused a three-mile traffic backup Monday morning, state police said.
Police said a pickup truck crashed into the wire rope guardrail off the shoulder of the highway. Witnesses said the wire rope was strewn about the highway.
Police said the driver had minor injuries. The state Department of Transportation said the left lane was closed until about 10:30 a.m.
