New London man charged with robbery

New London — Police arrested a New London man Saturday after he allegedly pulled a knife on another man and robbed him of an undisclosed amount of money

While investigating another matter in the area of 18 Brewer St., police observed a dispute between two men. Police said the men knew each other and one of them pulled a knife on the other and robbed him. No one was injured. An officer on scene recovered the knife allegedly used during the dispute.

Eric Rowe, 31, of 3 Thompson Court was arrested and charged with first-degree robbery, carrying a dangerous weapon, second-degree threatening and breach of peace.
