Police: Person dies after fall from Foxwoods balcony; no foul play suspected

Mashantucket — A person died after falling from a Foxwoods Resort Casino balcony Sunday about 3 a.m., Mashantucket Pequot Tribal police Chief William Dittman said.

Dittman said the unidentified person jumped from a balcony behind the food court at the Great Cedar Hotel.

He said police, who were called to the scene by security personnel, don’t suspect foul play.

He said the state medical examiner is going to perform an autopsy and identify the deceased.
