No injuries after one car lands atop another in Waterford

No one was injured in this two-car, motor vehicle collision Thursday, June 13, 2019, on Broad Street in front of the People's Bank by the New London town line. Waterford — Cohanzie and Jordan fire officials were dispatched Thursday afternoon for a motor vehicle accident with one car on top of the other, but Cohanzie Public Information Officer Steven Frischling said it turned out to be a relatively minor accident.
First responders were dispatched to 716 Broad St., the address of People's United Bank, at 2:38 p.m. Thursday, he said. One car ended up partially on top of the other, but everybody was out of their vehicles and walking around by the time fire and EMS arrived.
