Ledyard — Police are investigating a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning that led to Life Star helicopter transporting a seriously injured motorcyclist to the hospital.

Ledyard Fire Company said that about 6 a.m., Ledyard police, Ledyard and Gales Ferry Fire Companies and American Ambulance responded to the area of Stoddards Wharf Road and Goulart Road for a car-versus-motorcycle accident.
