Police: Stabbing leaves person with minor injuries in Stonington domestic disturbance
Stonington — One person was transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital with minor injuries due to a stabbing during a domestic disturbance at a residence on School Street and Route 27 on Tuesday evening, town police Captain Todd Olson said.
The incident occurred at 8:40 p.m. Both parties were arrested, Olson said. The individual transported to the hospital was given a summons and the other person involved was taken into custody.
Police remained on scene at 9:45 p.m., and specific charges were not yet available.
