Stonington — Police said they charged an a 18-year-old Pawcatuck man with sexual assault Tuesday morning after he was found in the bedroom of a 13-year-old girl.

Anthony P. Cross, 18, of 66 Greenhaven Road was charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault and three counts of risk of injury to a child. He was arraigned Tuesday in New London Superior Court.

Police said they responded to a Pawcatuck residence at 10:15 a.m. after the girl's mother reported that an 18-year-old man, identified as Cross, was in the bedroom of her 13-year-old daughter.
