New London police investigating firing of shots in Bank Street area
New London — City police are investigating a report of gunfire shortly after midnight Friday in the area of 345 Bank St.
No injuries were reported.
Police said they received a call about a disturbance involving possible shots fired about 12:12 a.m. Several spent casing were found at the scene, which was secured and processed for evidence, police said. Officers conducted a search of the area.
The incident did not appear to be a random act, police said.
