Norwich police investigate shots fired outside apartment building
Norwich — Police are investigating an incident in which shots were fired outside a multi-family apartment building Sunday afternoon on Merchants Avenue near Fontaine Court.
Police said they found spent shell casings on the street when they responded to the scene at 3:06 p.m. There were no injuries among residents and the building was not struck. Police said the shooter or shooters fled but said the incident appears to have been a “targeted attack.”
