Massachusetts man killed in I-395 crash in Griswold

Griswold — State police are seeking information related to a fatal crash on Thursday night in Griswold that claimed the life of a 64-year-old Massachusetts man.

Kevin M. Scott of Pepperell, Mass., was traveling south on Interstate 395 at 10:07 p.m., when police said he lost control of his tractor-trailer and drove through a metal beam guardrail on the right shoulder of the highway. His vehicle traveled down a steep embankment and struck a tree. Scott was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident occurred in the area of Exit 24 in Griswold. The state police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad responded to assist in the investigation, which is ongoing. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact state police at Troop E in Montville at (860) 848-6500.
