Bozrah man charged in March assault in Norwich
Norwich — City police charged a Bozrah man with assault on Saturday after he was detained by state police in Colchester, who learned there was pending warrant for his arrest here.
Joshua X. Richardson, 28, of 254 Fitchville Road, Bozrah, was charged with second-degree assault and disorderly conduct. He was held on a $50,000 bond and was arraigned Monday in Norwich Superior Court.
Police said Richardson was involved in a domestic dispute that escalated into a physical confrontation on March 15 in which the victim allegedly suffered a minor laceration with a knife. Police said Richardson fled before police arrived on the scene.
