Waterford man charged in multiple Norwich vehicle burglaries

Norwich — A Waterford man faces burglary charges after police said they located him during the burglary of a vehicle on Harland Road-Route 169 early Saturday morning.
Alex R. Lozada, 19, of 326 Boston Post Road, Waterford, was charged at 4:45 a.m. Saturday with five counts of third-degree burglary of a motor vehicle. He was released on a $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Norwich Superior Court Sept. 30.
Police said after Lozada was located at the residence burglarizing a motor vehicle, officers identified him as a suspect in several other vehicle burglaries in the same area.
