Norwich Police investigate shots fired outside VFW

Norwich — Police are investigating a reported shooting outside of the VFW in Taftville.

Two people called 911 at about 12:41 a.m. Sunday to report hearing shots fired outside the club at 36 Pratte Ave., according to a news release from detective Sgt. Avery Marsh. Several patrons at the scene reported hearing shots fired outside. Police said they interviewed witnesses and located evidence.

No injuries were reported, and the shooter or shooters appeared to have fled the scene.
