Mystic -- Crews were on scene Monday evening for a water main break on Gravel Street. 

Groton Town Police said the break, which was called in at 6:51 p.m., resulted in the closure of Gravel Street from West Main Street to the area of Cliff Street. Personnel from the Mystic Fire Department and Aquarion Water Co. responded. 

The road was still closed as of 8:30 p.m. Police did not know how many customers were affected by the break.
