Norwich police investigate late night gunshot
Norwich — Police said they are investigating a reported gunshot late Tuesday night.
A Boswell Avenue resident called 911 around 11:25 p.m. on Tuesday to report hearing a gunshot near Sandy Lane, according to a news release.
Police said they went to the area and spoke to several residents, who also said they heard a gunshot. Police said they identified two people who were the intended victims. Both were uninjured.
Police said they found a spent shell casing and other evidence and that the perpetrator or perpetrators had left the scene.
"Information suggests this is an isolated incident and targeted attack against the victims," police said in the news release.
