Water main break reported on West Main Street in Norwich

Norwich — Norwich Public Utilities crews are continuing to work Monday morning on repairing a water main break reported in the area of West Main Street (Route 82) and Osgood Lane, according to a news release.

Police said the eastbound and westbound lanes are closed to traffic in that area and drivers should expect delays.

Norwich Police Sgt. Christopher R. Chastang said crews estimate the road will reopen around 12 p.m.-2 p.m. Monday.

The water main break was reported around 12 a.m. Monday.
