Man in critical condition after shooting in Norwich
Norwich — A 23-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot early Tuesday morning, according to the Norwich Police Department.
Police said the department received numerous 911 calls around 12:17 a.m. reporting a shooting in the area of Convent Avenue, and they found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to Backus Hospital and is listed in critical condition.
The initial investigation found this was a targeted attack, police said, and the investigation is ongoing.
