A Welcome Home reader asked about the real estate seasons, and whether autumn is a good time to list a property for sale. Realtor Carollen Speer encouraged homeowners who are considering a sale to capitalize on the favorable fall market:

“Autumn is a great time to sell a home for a number of reasons. There tends to be fewer listings in the fall, meaning less competition and more power to sell your home. We are still seeing a shortage in inventory, negating the common theory that spring is the best time to sell. When a home is priced right and ready to show, it will always move!”
