Local roundup: Conn College women stay unbeaten
Boston — Connecticut College remained unbeaten with a 72-42 win over UMass Boston in a nonleague women’s basketball game on Tuesday night.
Mia Xerras had 15 points, three assists and three steals, Addi Hunter had 11 points and six rebounds, Avery Burns scored 10, Sydney Feeney came off the bench for nine points in seven minutes and Hayle Thompson had nine points, five blocks and four rebounds for ther Camels (3-0).
Men’s basketball
• New London’s Eddie Volkerts scored 19 points and had nine rebounds as Mitchell College beat Anna Maria 78-57. Jaylyn Clardy had 15 points and eight rebounds and Collin Jefferson scored 11 for the Mariners (4-0).
