Police find nearly 100 bags of heroin during apartment raid

BRISTOL, Conn. — Bristol police have discovered nearly 100 bags of heroin during an apartment raid.
The Hartford Courant reports that 77 of the single-dose bags were found during the Saturday raid on the Kelley Street apartment and another 20 were found when the apartment's occupants were arrested.
Larry and David Hughes were arrested and charged with a number of drug-related offenses. Both live at the home.
The two were charged with possessing and selling a narcotic and selling a narcotic within 1,500 feet of a school.
David Hughes was also charged with criminal possession of a firearm.
