UConn announces football series with Buffalo, Utah State

UConn football has agreed to football series with Buffalo and Utah State.

The Huskies will play Buffalo four times, starting in Sept. 28, 2024 at Rentschler Field in East Hartford. They will travel to Buffalo in 2025 and 2029 and host the Bulls in 2028.

The two teams have met 21 times, with UConn holding a 16-5 edge in the series.

UConn signed a two-game agreement with Utah State. The Huskies will travel to Logan, Utah, in 2022 and host the Aggies in 2023. They lost the only previous meeting, falling 38-31 at Memorial Stadium in Storrs in 2001.

Last fall, the Huskies played their last season in the American Athletic Conference. They'll compete as an independent in football this fall.
