UConn women haven COVID issues as Friday's game at DePaul is off

The Big East Conference and UConn announced Tuesday night that Friday's women's basketball game between the No. 11 Huskies and DePaul has been postponed due to COVID-19 issues within the UConn program.

The game was scheduled for a 2 p.m. tip in Chicago. UConn's next scheduled game is Wednesday, Jan. 5, at Georgetown, but the Hoyas are also dealing with COVID issues right now.

The UConn men had Tuesday night's game against Xavier in Cincinnati called off due to COVID issues within its program.
