Kris Grills, with the New London Firefighters Pipes and Drums, plays a medly of patriotic songs on the bagpipes as he walks along Starr Street during an event planned to promote unity on Sunday, April 5.  Residents gathered in their doorways and watched from windows as some hung American flags and music filled the air.
