A grand finale for the New London Talent Show
The New London Talent Show took the stage at the Garde Arts Center for the final time on Saturday. First staged in 2011 in response to the murder of Matthew Chew, the annual show provided hundreds of local youth with artistic mentoring and an opportunity to perform in a 1400-seat theater. Co-founders Curtis Goodwin and Frank Colmenares say they are stepping aside to make way for the next generation of youth leaders.
