When the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled his eighth grade football season, Demitrias "Demo" Fletcher left New London for IMG Academy in Florida. Last year he returned New London, hoping to help the Whalers get back to level of success they had when his father Kasi was a running back for the Whalers.
