When John Oliver did stand-up at Foxwoods last year, the comedian known for his political and topical humor tended to stay away from those subjects.

When Bill Maher comes to Foxwoods Saturday, on the other hand, I expect he'll completely embrace the political wildness going on right now. How could he not? He's been in full froth over Trump on his HBO show "Real Time."

Oh, and in other Maher news: he was given the First Amendment Award from the PEN Center USA, which promotes free speech, earlier this fall.
