Ariana Grande gets "Dangerous" at Mohegan Sun

The phrase "fake news" has been thrown around so much lately that it really doesn't mean much anymore because it's being used for everything.

But here's a case you could absolutely categorize as "fake news": somehow, the Associated Press (or someone using the AP system) tweeted on Feb. 1 that Ariana Grande is pregnant.

Um, well, or not. AP quickly deleted the tweet and said, "It was unauthorized. We are investigating."

    Maybe they meant Beyonce?

Grande, in the meantime, is hitting the road with her latest tour, which comes to Mohegan Sun on Friday. The tour is named "Dangerous Woman," after Grande's latest CD. That released was nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at this year's Grammys, and the single of the same name earned a Best Pop Solo Performance nod. (Adele ended up winning both categories.)

In concert, she reportedly performs every song on the new album, along with some slightly reworked versions of earlier hits like "Break Free" and "Problem."

So far, she hasn't sung her latest single, the remake of the song "Beauty and the Beast." She duets with John Legend on that new version of the Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson tune from the 1991 Disney film "Beauty and the Beast," which is getting a live-action makeover this year.

Ariana Grande, 7:30 p.m. Friday, Mohegan Sun Arena; with Little Mix and Victoria Monet; $59.95-$129.95; 1-800-745-3000.
