Mohegan Sun CEO Mitchell Etess should take a close look at the excess managers and line supervisors in the arena security department. ("Analysts: More Mohegan Sun cuts possible," Sept. 19.) Mohegan Sun has two managers who are likely making top pay and who could easily be decreased to one manager to oversee just arena staff.

Mohegan Sun also could eliminate five line-supervisor positions in the arena and still have ample coverage if an incident were to happen. Just about all the entertainers who perform at the arena bring their own security with them. This reflects on the security directors who oversee this department and ultimately Mitchell Etess.

There will be more debt for Mohegan Sun unless the right personnel are looked at when cleaning house.
