What are the major issues for your town? My overarching plan is to make New London a clean and safe city with walkable neighborhoods. I will place a heavy emphasis on economic development, education and public safety because the three go hand in hand in their role to improve New London's condition. I will continue to challenge the status quo and ensure our city is making measurable progress, working together as one city, one team.
What makes you the best candidate for this office? Moving the city forward cannot be facilitated by just one person. In order to make Progress in New London, a committed and talented team must work together to see our vision through.
I have been fortunate over the years to be part of and lead successful teams. My tenure as mayor will be no different.
What was the last book you read, and what did you think of it? The Tipping Point, by Malcolm Gladwell. I can relate to the author's optimistic approach to showing real life examples of how small yet visible improvements to a specific issue can have positive impacts that are both measurable and meaningful.
