The soul of our country has been destroyed. No greater loss than to lose a child. The senseless violence in a first grade class against six-year-old children in Newtown has been brought about by the complete distortion of our right to bear arms. The only solution is the complete abolition of firearms. If you want to hunt, give it up; if you want to target shoot, give it up; if you fear for the government take over, guns will not protect you from the smart weapons of today; if you want a gun for home protection, get an alarm system. Not until we become a country that puts the lives of our children above our right to bear arms will the country's soul be reborn.
