ECSO Concert - February 9, 2013
The Eastern Connecticut Symphony concert series continues on Saturday, February 9, 2013, at 8 PM at the Garde Arts Center in New London. ECSO Music Director, Toshiyuki Shimada conducts the program which includes: Beethoven’s Symphony No. 1; Bernstein’s Serenade played by guest soloist, David Halen, Concertmaster of the St. Louis Symphony; and Nielsen’s Symphony No. 4 (The Inextinguishable.)
The Soloist is sponsored by Dominion Millstone Power Station. Free pre-concert conversation given by Gary Chapman. A free post-concert reception is offered to all members of the audience. Tickets are priced at $27-$60 with senior, student, and active military personnel discounts in selected seating areas. Student rush tickets priced at $12 available night of the performance.
