Norwich — Christina Caplet joined Chelsea Groton Bank in 2000 as a customer service representative and through hard work and strong performance has advanced to branch manager in Norwich. She consistently exceeds customer expectations and exhibits strong leadership skills. These skills were used as she helped to lead an important project to implement a quality control process at 13 branches.

Caplet graduated from the Connecticut Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut Leadership Program in 2008 and graduated from the Connecticut School of Finance and Management in 2010.

In addition to her job responsibilities at Chelsea Groton, Caplet has taken initiative to improve the quality of life in our area through her selfless service to the community. Most notably, she has served as an active board member of Madonna Place family support center in Norwich since 2008 and was recently elected vice-president after serving as secretary. Caplet serves as chairperson of the fund development committee.

Caplet is also an ambassador for the Greater Norwich Area Chamber of Commerce. Through the chamber, she also serves on the business education committee which provides education services and training programs to chamber members.

Caplet also serves as registrar and a coach for the Montville Youth Soccer Club.
