The Shoreline League of Democratic Women will host a panel discussion on education and advocacy surrounding children's health and gun safety April 11 in the Green Room, Clinton Town Hall, Route 1, Clinton.
The program entitled "Protecting Our Children From Gun Violence" will include State Senator Beth Bye, a member of the Bipartisan Task Force on Gun Violence and Child Safety; Ron Pinciaro, the executive director of Connecticut Against Gun Violence, and a representative from the Connecticut State Police. State Representative Lonnie Reed will moderate the program. Learn about child-related gun violence in our state, what is being done at the Capitol, and what you can do to help protect our children.
