Why not a bio-science push for this area?

Thanks to our local, hard-working lawmakers - particularly Rep. Elizabeth Ritter, Sen. Andrew Maynard, Sen. Andrea Stillman and Rep. Kevin Ryan - for their bill championing bioscience enterprise in southeastern Connecticut. Let's encourage Gov. Dannel Malloy and Department of Economic Development Commissioner Catherine Smith to be equally enthusiastic.

Southeastern Connecticut lags behind the state and the nation in job growth and economic recovery. Success requires we move beyond a mindset in which we assume that if one area of Connecticut wins another has to lose. Regionalization, which the governor supports, proves otherwise.

Why can't revitalization start in southeastern Connecticut? It's about time.
