Groton - The schooner Virginia passes the Noank Town Dock after departing Mystic Seaport bound for New London Thursday. The Virginia, which is making the transit early to catch favorable tides, will be joined in New London on Friday by most of the remaining Connecticut Schooner Festival vessels.
