Rosanne Kotowski's review of the Groton Board of Education's dismal performance, "Many reasons to oust Groton board members," (Sept. 21), reminds me of the sentiment expressed by Mark Twain, "In the first place, God made idiots. That was for practice. Then he made school boards."
Ms. Kotowski's recommendation that Groton's voters not support incumbent board members seeking re-election is reasonable and worthy of consideration.
And, I might add, performance of the Groton Town Council is no better than that of the school board. Incumbents of that august body seeking re-election deserve to be cast out as well!
