AT&T plans to hire 30 for Web and wireless

AT&T has announced plans to hire more than 30 people across Connecticut, primarily focusing on the company's wireless, Wi-Fi, high speed Internet, voice and cloud-based services.

Most of the jobs involve customer service or network operations. More information about AT&T job openings can be found at att.jobs.

The company said it already has hired 180 new employees in the state so far this year. In the first half of 2013, it added, AT&T made investments of nearly $140 million in its statewide networks.

The Texas-based AT&T currently employs more than 4,900 people throughout Connecticut. Its Twitter handle for news is @ATT.
