Oakdale man arrested for home invasion
Salem — State police arrested an Oakdale man earlier this month after they say he broke into a Salem home and got into a physical fight with the resident.
Dominick Joseph Crisanti, 36, of 509 Norwich Salem Turnpike was charged on Nov. 6 with third-degree assault, first-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, home invasion, sixth-degree larceny and second-degree reckless endangerment.
Crisanti took a coat and keys belonging to the victim and then entered the victim's home, according to a police report. He also broke an interior door in the home and began arguing with the resident. A verbal argument between Crisanti and the victim became physical, according to the report.
