New London — The New London Lodge of Elks will host its annual Elk of the Year, Citizen of the Year and Elk Officer of the Year awards ceremony Saturday, March 22 at the Elks Lodge at 81 Washington St.
The Elk of the Year award will be presented to Justin “Juice” Lamoureux, the Citizen of the Year award to Parks and Recreation Director Tommie Major, and the Officer of the Year award to lodge chaplain Judith Libera.
The festivities will begin at 6 p.m. An Italian-style chicken dinner prepared by local chef John Graham will be served at 7 p.m. and the awards presentation will follow.
Tickets are $12 per person and can be purchased in advance at the Elks lodge, the Parks and Recreation office at 120 Broad St., or at the door the night of the event. Dress is casual.
