Police Investigating Stabbing in Old Saybrook

The Old Saybrook Police Department is investigating a stabbing that took place at the Super 8 Motel, 37 Spencer Plains Road, Old Saybrook. This is suspected to be an isolated domestic incident. One male party is currently in custody.
A female victim, with serious injuries, was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
The stabbing incident occurred at 06:37 a.m. today. Police were alerted by a 911 call from the hotel room.
The incident is currently under investigation and no other information is available at this time.
