Hannibal Buress brings his stand-up to Foxwoods

Comedian Hannibal Buress performs at Foxwoods.

You know how those old rape allegations against Bill Cosby have resurfaced in public discussion recently?

Comic Hannibal Buress is the one who, intentionally or not, made it happen.

Buress was telling a few jokes about Cosby and talked about those rape accusations. Someone in the audience recorded, posted it, and it went viral.

Buress talked about the situation on "The Howard Stern Show," saying he's done that Cosby riff "on and off for six months. It was unexpected. It wasn't my intention to make it part of a big discussion. It was just something I was doing at that venue right there. So for someone to put it to the media, it's crazy."

"It's just information that's out there. I said it and I gotta stand on it, but it is an interesting situation."

All that aside, Buress is a very funny comedian whose one-hour special "Live in Chicago" premiered earlier this year on Comedy Central, following up on his 2012 special "Animal Furnace." He's a regular on the Comedy Central series "Broadway City," too, and he co-hosts Adult Swim's "The Eric Andre Show." See him Saturday when he brings his stand-up to Fox Theater at Foxwoods.
