New London – Police seized crack cocaine and other drugs from a New London home on Friday and arrested three people as part of a drug trafficking investigation.

Narcotics investigators executed a search-and-seizure warrant at 77 Nob Hill Road, Unit A-1, where police said two minor children were present.

Investigators said that Luis Oliver-Garcia, 24, was selling narcotics from the residence. Police said they found crack cocaine, oxycodone, marijuana and money related to drug sales during the morning raid.

Oliver-Garcia was charged with possession of narcotics with intent to sell, two counts of possession of narcotics and two counts of risk of injury to a minor.

Also present at the residence was Cecilia Beauchamps, 18, of 77 Nob Hill Road, A-1, and Alicet Garcia, 42, of 93 State Pier Road. Beauchamps was charged with possession of narcotics and two counts of risk of injury to a minor. Garcia was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Narcotics investigators were assisted by personnel from the state Department of Children and Families Endangered Children Unit. The unit is a collaborative effort between law enforcement and DCF to reduce response time and remove children from an illegal drug environment, according to a statement from Acting Police Chief Peter Reichard.

The two children found in the residence were placed with family members, Reichard said.
